Lansdowne Centre Food Garden – Free Weekly Gardening Workshops (Every Thursday)

Lansdowne Centre Food Garden Now entering its sixth year, the Lansdowne Centre Food Garden program continues to support the local community by growing fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are donated to local community organizations and the Richmond Food Bank Society, helping address food insecurity in Richmond. The program also offers free weekly gardening workshops, where participants can learn practical gardening skills and growing techniques from local experts. Since launching in 2021, the Food Garden program has donated nearly 3,000 pounds of fresh produce to local organizations serving families in need. It is also a great opportunity for children to learn where the food comes from.
