BEST - Beading Circle

Nina Thomas is from the Necoslie First Nation in Fort St. James, BC, and is a respected Knowledge Keeper withe the Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society. She brings a wealth of cultural knowledge rooted in community, tradition, and lived experience. Through her work, Nina shares teachings grounded in both traditional and contemporary Indigenous practices including food preparation, beading, and sewing. She is deeply passionate about the arts and creating meaningful space for connections with Elders and community members. Nina will spend time with participants sharing beading techniques and cultural teachings. All are welcome to join in this circle of learning and connection.
