Five Acre Shaker on Hiatus for 2026 Update (July 2026): The organizers of Five Acre Shaker have announced that the festival will not take place in 2026. After more than a decade of bringing music, art, food, and community together in Port Alberni, Five Acre Co. has decided to pause the festival for one year while they strengthen their organization and plan for the future. The team has shared that this is a hiatus rather than the end of the festival . They are using this time to build organizational capacity, reimagine the event, and work toward bringing Five Acre Shaker back in 2027.
