Swim Instructor (SI)

Prerequisites: Bronze Cross, 15 years old. The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course trains candidates to the Competency Level 1 knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to teach the Society’s Swim for Life® and Canadian Swim Patrol programs. The first week covers theory and peer teaches, the second week candidates complete swim lesson teaching experience by teaching their own lesson set.
