Prerequisite - Successful completion of Swimmer 6. This is the first level of the Canadian Swim Patrol. Features stroke development, fitness (endurance swims), self rescue, assessment of a conscious injured patient requiring EMS, treatment of bleeding, and throwing assist rescues.
