Ceramics 2: Breakthrough in Clay

Designed for students who have previously taken Ceramics 1: Introduction or Wheel Throwing, this class offers the opportunity to hone your throwing while exploring new throwing techniques and forms. Participants will focus on refining their skills with an emphasis on consistency, craftsmanship and creative exploration. Through demonstrations and guided practice, participants will experiment with new approaches to functional pottery or sculptural ceramics. Must be able to throw a 6-inch cylinder. Clay not included in course fee. Purchase a clay ticket from the Front Office prior to the start of class. Instructor: Brianne Siu
