Teen Handbuilding

This is a satellite program operated by the ceramics staff at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, City of Burnaby's internationally renown ceramic arts facility. Learn ceramic arts in our purpose-built clay studio. This course will cover functional and sculptural handbuilding, and working with underglazes to create vibrant surfaces. After being introduced to various building techniques, students are encouraged to explore their own ideas through individual projects. Returning students welcome. Clay and supplies included in the course fee. Students should wear old clothing. No class October 12. Instructor: Eris Fitz-James
